Iwai Tradition Mars 'Haru' Sakura Cask Finish

Iwai Tradition Mars 'Haru' is a Japanese whisky finished in sakura casks. It carries the name of Kiichiro Iwai, regarded as an icon of Japanese whisky. Mars Distillery is part of Hombo Shuzo, a company that produces many styles of alcohol and began with shochu in the early 1900s. Whisky production began in earnest in 1949 with Iwai's help. The company's main distillery, Shinshu, lies in the Nagano Alps and is the highest whisky distillery in Japan. Its second, Tsunuki, is in Kagoshima in the south of the country.
