J&B Blended Scotch (1L, 40%)

J&B Blended Scotch is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 1 litre bottle. It is built from 42 different malt and grain whiskies, with Speyside single malts at its core. After blending, the whisky goes back into cask for a further three years before bottling, which lets the component whiskies marry. The nose is soft apple and ripe pear, with honey, light grassy notes and a malty base. On the palate it is buttery and slightly nutty, moving to vanilla and honey, with dried fruit, a little citrus and a faint hint of smoke. The finish is smooth and fairly short, with vanilla and gentle cereal sweetness.
