J&B is a blended Scotch whisky at 40% ABV, sold in a 75cl bottle. It is built from 42 individual whiskies, anchored by four Speyside single malts: Knockando, Auchroisk, Strathmill and Glen Spey.
The brand comes from Justerini & Brooks, which traces its origins to 1749. It won Gold Medals at The Scotch Whisky Masters in 2014 and 2015.
The nose has grain sweetness and crystallised lemon, then grassy notes and a little light woodsmoke. The palate is light and sweet with lemon peel and satsuma, before caramel, oak, white pepper and aniseed. The finish is medium-short and herbal.
