J&B Rare is a Scotch blended whisky in a one litre bottle, made from 42 malt and grain whiskies drawn from the Highlands, Islay and other Scottish regions. It is matured in casks that previously held sherry, and the colour is light gold.
The nose is fresh, with fruit, light spice and a hint of wood. On the palate there is balanced sweetness, with honey and vanilla, citrus and a light peatiness in the background.
