J&B is a blended Scotch whisky, here in a 1.14 litre bottle. The name stands for Justerini and Brooks, a wine and spirits merchant based in London since 1749. In the 19th century the company began bottling a blended Scotch called J&B Club. It became the blend now known in 1930, when it was renamed J&B Rare. It is made with no fewer than 42 whiskies, including Speyside malts that lend it character, and is described as herbaceous and floral.
