J. & G. Grant's Highland Dream of Scotland 12 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky - Distilled 1999 / Bottled 2011 (75cl, 43%)

A 12 year old blended Scotch from J. & G. Grant, distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2011 at 43% in a 75cl bottle. Highland Dream of Scotland revives an older design and recipe. It is a blend of single malt whiskies from around Scotland, the youngest of them 12 years old, and J & G Grant bottled 9000 bottles. The nose has a strong sherry note with red pepper, liquorice and smoke. On the palate come vanilla, honey and smoky oak with peppery heat, followed by a medium-long finish of honey, leather and smoke.
