Rich Batch 3 is a blended malt from J.G. Thomson & Co., a modern brand within the Artisanal Spirits Company. The whiskies in the blend were distilled in 1996 and matured for 28 years in ex-bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks.
It is bottled at 46.5% in a 70cl bottle, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The Rich series is associated with dark fruit, sweet oak, spiced sherry notes and a velvety depth, and this batch brings fruity fullness, spicy sweetness and ripe wood notes together.
