This is a collaboration between Louise McGuane of J.J. Corry and the independent bottler The Heart Cut, and the first Irish whiskey to join The Heart Cut collection. It comes in a 50cl bottle.
The blend draws on Louise McGuane's warehouse of flavours, combining Irish pot still, grain and single malt whiskeys. Two components were aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, and two more were finished in Oloroso and Pajarete casks. Only 519 bottles were released.
The result is sherry-forward, with richness and spice from the fortified-wine casks.
