J.W. Rutledge Cream of Kentucky Small Batch Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Cream of Kentucky Small Batch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV, released under J.W. Rutledge with Master Distiller Jim Rutledge. It revives a label first introduced in 1888, which became closely associated with Schenley after Prohibition and was promoted with artwork by Norman Rockwell. This small batch release is built around the brand's 'Double-Rich' promise of fruit, sweetness, oak and spice. The nose is honeyed pome fruit and orange blossom. The palate brings crème brûlée and soft vanilla sweetness with banana, Honeycrisp apple, caramel and toasted oak. The finish is smooth and rounded, with lingering honeyed sweetness, baking spice and soft oak.
