Jack Daniel's – 10 Year Old Batch 5 Limited Edition (70cl, 48.5%)

Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old Batch 5 is a limited edition Tennessee whiskey from Lynchburg, bottled at 48.5% (97 proof) in a 70cl bottle. The mashbill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. For this batch, Master Distiller Chris Fletcher moved barrels part-way through maturation from the upper floors of the barrelhouse to the lower ricks, to bring out greater depth and complexity. The nose is cooked apple and caramel. The palate has rich molasses and dark chocolate with a rounded sweetness, and the finish is long and warm, with a lingering sweetness.
