Jack Daniel's 10 Year Old is a Tennessee whiskey aged for ten years in oak casks, a longer maturation than the distillery's classic bottlings.
The time in wood brings caramel, vanilla and spice and adds structure to the whiskey.
The nose combines caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and soft spice, with some dried fruit and a faint smokiness. The palate is round and rich, with caramel, wood, spice and dried fruit. The finish is long, woody, spicy and lightly toasted.
