This is a 14 year old Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery, released as Batch 02. It is one of the oldest age-stated expressions in the Jack Daniel's range and keeps the charcoal-mellowed character of the house style, with more oak and dark sweetness.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, maple, toasted oak, dark honey and baking spice. On the palate come brown sugar, toffee, vanilla cream, charred oak, leather and mature spice. The finish is long and warming, with oak and caramel sweetness lingering.
