This is a Tennessee whiskey released to mark Jack Daniel's 150th anniversary, bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl-sized 750ml bottle.
It was distilled and bottled in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and made using the Lincoln County Process, in which the spirit is filtered drop by drop through sugar maple charcoal. It is a limited edition.
The nose offers warm caramel, toasted oak, vanilla and a little spice. On the palate come sweet vanilla, roasted nuts, light smoke and brown sugar, followed by a medium-long, mellow finish with oak and a touch of spice.
