Jack Daniel's Bonded is a bottled-in-bond Tennessee whiskey, aged for at least four years and bottled at 50% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
It uses the same mash of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye as Old No. 7. The spirit is filtered through sugar maple charcoal, and the barrels are hand-selected for deeper colour and richer flavour before maturing in a bonded warehouse.
The nose offers dulce de leche, vanilla, toasted oak and cinnamon. The palate brings caramel, roasted corn, baking spice and dried cherries, and the finish is long, with oak, a thread of smoke and lingering caramel.
