Jack Daniel's Bonded is a bottled-in-bond Tennessee whiskey at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle, made at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg. It is mellowed through sugar-maple charcoal and aged in new charred American oak, from a mash bill of 80% corn, 8% rye and 12% malted barley.
Bottled-in-bond means a single distiller, a single distilling season and at least four years in a bonded warehouse. It became a permanent release in 2022, having previously been sold in travel retail.
The palate is caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, with a banana-nut note beneath and a spicier body. The finish is long and warm with baking spice.
