Gentleman Jack is a Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel's distillery in Lynchburg, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It is made from corn, rye and malted barley, using the same mash bill as Jack Daniel's Old No. 7.
What sets it apart is a second charcoal mellowing, which gives the name Double Mellowed.
The nose is brown sugar and honey with a gentle touch of spice. On the palate come caramel, vanilla and toasted oak, followed by a velvety, lingering finish.
