Jack Daniel's – Gentleman Jack Tennessee Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Gentleman Jack is a Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was introduced in 1988 and made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, from the house mash of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. What sets it apart is double charcoal mellowing. Like every Jack Daniel's whiskey it is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal before ageing, and then it goes through the charcoal a second time after ageing, before bottling. No other core expression in the range is treated this way. The whiskey is light amber and silky. Tasting notes mention caramel, black currant and mandarin, laced with vanilla and smoke, and a gentle finish.
