This is a limited edition Tennessee whiskey from Jack Daniel's, one of a series commemorating the distillery's master distillers. No. 6 honours Jimmy Bedford, the sixth master distiller, who held the post from 1988 to 2008. Each bottle is numbered and comes in a box showing him.
The nose is soft and fairly light, with plenty of sweetness, dry spice, oily nuts and a touch of smoke. The palate is soft, with banana milkshake, nutmeg, caramel and custard. The finish is sweet, with cereal and toasted oak.
