Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No. 1 is the first edition in a limited series honouring the seven men who have served as master distiller for the brand. This opening bottle is dedicated to Jack Daniel himself, master distiller from 1866 to 1911. It holds 100cl of Tennessee whiskey at 43%.
Like every Jack Daniel's, it is made with iron-free water from the cave spring at Lynchburg and passes through charcoal mellowing. Sugar maple wood is burned to charcoal and stacked three metres high, and the whiskey drips through it before going into white oak barrels. The pack shows Jack Daniel, and the bottle can be registered with the distillery.
