This is Jack Daniel's Old No. 4 in a Master Distiller edition, a Tennessee whiskey made at the distillery in Lynchburg.
It is filtered through maple charcoal in the Lincoln County Process, then matured in American oak barrels.
The nose combines vanilla, caramel and a little smoky wood. The palate has a moderate sweetness with sweet spice, and the finish carries a trace of bitter chocolate.
