Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey made in Lynchburg, Tennessee, here in a large 175cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is filtered through sugar maple charcoal in the Lincoln County Process and matured in new American oak.
The nose is sweet, with vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, plus a touch of ripe banana and gentle spice. The palate is smooth and balanced, with caramel, vanilla, nuts and a light toasted-wood note. The finish is medium and warm, with lingering sweetness, oak and a delicate spiciness.
