Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 is a Tennessee whiskey from Lynchburg, Tennessee, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
Before maturing, it is filtered through sugar maple charcoal in what is known as the Lincoln County Process. The casks are new toasted American oak.
The tasting notes give vanilla, caramel and toasted oak on the nose, with a touch of ripe banana and soft spice. On the palate it is soft and balanced, with caramel, vanilla, nuts and a little toasted wood. The finish is medium and warm, with sweet notes, oak and a delicate spiced edge.
