Jack Daniel's Sinatra Select is a Tennessee whiskey from the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, bottled at 45% ABV in a 1 litre bottle. It was created as a tribute to Frank Sinatra's devotion to Old No. 7.
It is matured in "Sinatra Barrels", American oak barrels with deep grooves carved into the staves to expose the whiskey to more toasted wood. The mashbill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye.
The nose brings apple, caramel, honeycomb, toasted oak and chocolate. The palate offers caramelised banana, toffee, vanilla and spicy chocolate-orange, and the finish is warming, with oak, vanilla and a gentle smokiness.
