Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Whiskey (37.5cl, 70%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof is a Tennessee whiskey in a 375ml bottle, drawn from one hand-selected barrel at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg. It is bottled without added water and non-chill-filtered, so the strength is whatever the barrel gave, typically between 62.5 and 70% ABV. The mash bill is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. The spirit is mellowed through sugar maple charcoal by the Lincoln County Process and matured in new charred American oak, in barrels the Master Distiller chooses from the upper floors of the rickhouses. Typical notes are maple sugar candy, banana, vanilla wafer, toasted oak and pipe tobacco on the nose, then caramel, maple syrup, butterscotch, burnt wood and rye spice, with a long, spicy finish.
