Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye (75cl, 70%)

Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye is a barrel-proof Tennessee rye whiskey from Lynchburg, bottled in a 750ml bottle at between 62.5% and 70% ABV, depending on the barrel. Each bottle comes from a single barrel with no blending. The mash is 70% rye, 18% corn and 12% malted barley. The spirit goes through the Lincoln County Process, filtering through sugar maple charcoal, before it enters new charred oak barrels. The nose offers banana bread, spun sugar, red berries, caramel and spearmint, with cedar and vanilla beneath. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with cinnamon, clove, black pepper, cherry, apricot and toffee. The finish is medium, with cinnamon, toasted oak, banana and a faint mint note.
