Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Rye is a Tennessee rye whiskey from Lynchburg, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first new mash bill from Jack Daniel's in 150 years.
The mash bill is 70% rye, and each bottle comes from a single barrel.
The nose is ripe dried fruit, light vanilla and a hint of fresh grass. On the palate, bold spice and dried fruit come first, with toasted grain and gentle vanilla creaminess. The finish is clean and spiced, with lingering rye warmth and a touch of fruit.
