A single barrel Tennessee whisky from Jack Daniel's, bottled at 47% ABV. Each bottle comes from a barrel chosen by the Master Distiller, and the mash is 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. The barrels are toasted and charred American white oak, and those from higher in the rackhouses add deeper colour and richer flavour.
The nose has butterscotch, brown sugar, caramel, honey and vanilla custard, with banana, apple peel, toasted oak and cinnamon. The palate is creamy and medium-bodied, with caramel, roasted nuts and dried banana. The finish is medium in length, with charred oak, brown sugar and white pepper.
