Tennessee Honey is a honey whiskey liqueur from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, bottled at 35% in a 750ml bottle. It starts with Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey, made from a mashbill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye and filtered through sugar maple charcoal, then blended with a liqueur made from real honey. The finished blend is charcoal mellowed once more.
The nose offers acacia and wildflower honey with ripe banana, caramel, cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is gentle and honeyed, with walnut, cake batter and baking spice. The finish is medium to long, with honey, caramel and a short spicy note.
