This is a special edition of Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey, bottled in 2016 at 50% ABV in a 100cl bottle. It was produced as part of the celebrations marking the distillery's 150th anniversary, and its bottle style and design differ from the current one.
On the nose there is butterscotch, buttered corn on the cob, vanilla bean and apple. The palate brings toasty oak, plenty of caramel and cinnamon, and plump apricot. The finish stays buttery and lightly fruity, with hints of hickory.
