Triple Mash is a bottled-in-bond whiskey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
It combines three of the distillery's own spirits: 60 percent Tennessee Rye, 20 percent Tennessee Whiskey and 20 percent American Malt. The malt is made from 100 percent malted barley, and this was the first Jack Daniel's release to include it. As a bonded whiskey it was distilled by one distiller in a single season and aged for at least four years in a bonded warehouse.
The nose offers red raspberry, dark cherry, honey, banana bread and marzipan. Baking spice and cinnamon lead the palate, with vanilla, cream and caramel, and the finish is long, with roasted oak, honey and soft malt.
