Winter Jack is a seasonal spirit from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It blends apple cider liqueur with Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee Whiskey and a mix of holiday spices, including cinnamon and clove, and is bottled at 15% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
The recipe is drawn from an original family blend from Jack Daniel's own home. It is made to be served warm, heated gently in a pan or slow cooker, though it can also be poured over ice.
The nose is warm apple cider with orange peel, cinnamon and clove over caramel and oak. Ripe apple and pear lead the palate, with a baked apple pie character, and the finish carries toasted oak and vanilla.
