Jacob's Pardon Small Batch Recipe #3 is an 18 year old Indiana straight whiskey with a mashbill of 99% corn and 1% malted barley. It is bottled at 71.4% ABV, which is over 140 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
The nose offers cinnamon, nutmeg, spiced honey, light black cherry and walnut. The palate is honey, cinnamon spice, syrup, light aged oak and candy corn. The finish is long and surprisingly gentle, with cinnamon spice, dry oak, leather and a lingering bold heat.
