Jacob's Pardon Recipe 3 is an 18 year old American light whiskey, bottled at a cask strength of 71.1% ABV in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 99% corn and 1% malted barley. It was distilled by MGP in Indiana, aged in 211 uncharred new barrels and bottled in Kentucky by the Taub family enterprise, with F. Paul Pacult as master blender.
The nose offers caramel corn, black cherry and prune Danish. On the palate come turbinado sugar, cacao, creamed corn, toasted marshmallow and cinnamon bun. The long finish carries baking spice, vanilla bean and pipe tobacco.
