This is an eight year old Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co., labelled Beam 100 Months Old. It was distilled in 1963 and bottled in 1971 at 43% ABV, and it comes in a 75cl porcelain decanter designed by Charles Miller.
Bottling bourbon in decanters took off through the 1960s, and Jim Beam embraced the practice more than most. James Beauregard Beam re-opened the family's Clermont distillery in 1935, following the repeal of Prohibition.
