A four-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co., distilled in 1979 and bottled in 1983 at 40%. It comes in a painted glass decanter holding 75cl.
From the 1960s to the 1980s, much of the Beam's Choice bourbon aged four to eight years and made for the US market was sold in decorative decanters. This one belongs to Collector's Edition, Volume XIV, which features three paintings by the nature painter James Lockhart: a Wood Duck, a White Tailed Deer and a Scarlet Tanager.
