James B. Beam Distilling Co. Beam 4 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in Painted Glass Decanter - Distilled 1979, Bottled 1983 (75cl, 40%)

This Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co. is four years old. It was distilled in 1979, bottled in 1983 at 40%, and sold in a 75cl painted glass decanter. Beam released much of its 4 to 8 year old Beam's Choice bourbon for the US market in decanters between the 1960s and the 1980s, with designs drawn from European artists, Wedgwood styled vases and western prints. This decanter is part of Collector's Edition, Volume XIV, which shows three works by nature painter James Lockhart: Wood Duck, White Tailed Deer and Scarlet Tanager.
