A five-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from James B. Beam, sold as Beam's Choice. It was distilled in 1983 and bottled in 1988 at 43%, in a large 175cl bottle.
The bourbon is charcoal filtered, a method also called the Lincoln County Process. It is a practice more usually linked with Jack Daniel's, the Tennessee rival to Beam.
