An 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Jim Beam, distilled in 1963 and bottled in 1971 at 45% in a 75.7cl bottle. This one was bottled for the Italian market.
In the 1960s much of the Beam's Choice 8 Year Old made for the US market went into decorative decanters. This bottle belongs to Collector's Edition, Volume VI, which features three paintings from the Dutch Golden Age: Charles I by Anthony Van Dyck, and The Merry Lute Player and Boy Holding a Flute, both by Franz Hals.
