A blended Kentucky bourbon bottled in 1981 at 40%, in a 75cl bottle.
It comes from Volume XVII of the Collector's Edition, which features three works by the nature painter James Lockhart: a pintail, an elk and a horned owl. Through the 1960s, 70s and 80s, much of the Beam bourbon meant for the US market was bottled in decorative decanters, with designs ranging from Wedgwood-style vases to western prints.
