Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky from James Buchanan's blending house in London. This bottle dates from the mid to late 1950s and has a classic Spring-Cap closure. It is bottled at 43.4% ABV in a large 114cl bottle. The blend began life as House of Commons, the official whisky there, and took its name from the black and white labelling. Buchanan created the black Scottish Terrier and white West Highland Terrier motif himself in the 1890s. His first blend, made with W.P. Lowrie, used Dalwhinnie, Clynelish and Glendullan. The brand joined Dewar's in 1915 and is now owned by Diageo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
