This is James Buchanan's Black & White, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. The brand began with the London blender founded by James Buchanan, under the name House of Commons, the official whisky there. Its nickname, drawn from the black and white labelling, was eventually adopted as the brand name. Buchanan himself devised the motif of a black Scottish Terrier and a white West Highland Terrier in the 1890s. Following mergers involving Dewar's, Distillers Company and Guinness, Diageo now owns it.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
