This is an American rye whiskey from James E. Pepper, a distillery active since the 18th century. It is made from pure rye and comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in charred American oak barrels and has an amber colour.
The nose brings lively spice, fresh rye and a hint of dried fruit. On the palate, caramel and vanilla sweetness meets black pepper and spice. The finish is long and spicy, with a light touch of dark chocolate.
