A high-rye straight bourbon bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The mash bill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% malted barley, and the whiskey is aged for three to four years and left unfiltered. It won a Double Gold Medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The nose is roasted corn, cocoa, cinnamon, marmalade and apple, with brown sugar, clove and toasted oak. The palate starts with honey, brown sugar and caramel, then turns to white pepper, ginger and lemon meringue, with peach and melon. The finish is medium to long, with buttery vanilla, dark chocolate and a little pineapple.
