This is a 10 year old single malt from Linkwood, bottled by James Eadie at 46% under the name 'The Fox'. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023, and the outturn is 1,291 bottles.
The whisky was matured in re-charred hogsheads.
The nose brings cherries, dark chocolate with a hint of chilli, raspberry, strawberry and elderflower. On the palate it is juicy, waxy and full bodied, with berries, dark chocolate, lemon drizzle cake and shortbread. The finish offers blackberries, chocolate and pepper.
