This is Highland Park 12 Year Old, an Orkney single malt Scotch whisky from the 1980s, in a 100cl bottle at 43% ABV. Highland Park was built by David Robertson in 1798. Its ties to the blenders Robertson & Baxter led to its purchase by Highland Distillers in 1937. Edrington bought Highland Distillers in 1999 and runs the distillery today. Distillery bottlings first appeared around the 1950s, and the modern single malt brand was first officially released in the 1970s as an 8 year old.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
