This is a 12 year old Highland Park, a single malt Scotch whisky from Orkney, released in the 1980s at 43% in a 100cl bottle. David Robertson built the distillery in 1798. Highland Distillers acquired it in 1937 through its link with the blenders Robertson & Baxter, and Edrington, which bought Highland Distillers in 1999, runs it today. The modern Highland Park single malt was first officially bottled in the 1970s as an 8 year old, with distillery bottlings appearing from around the 1950s.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
