This is a 12 year old Highland Park single malt from the 1980s, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV, and it comes boxed. David Robertson built the distillery in 1798. Its long link with the blenders Robertson & Baxter led to its purchase by Highland Distillers in 1937, and Edrington, which bought that company in 1999, runs it today. The Highland Park single malt brand was first bottled officially in the 1970s with an 8 year old, although distillery bottlings had appeared around the 1950s.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
