This is Jameson Special Reserve, a 12 year old blended Irish whiskey from a bottling made sometime in the 1980s. John Jameson created Jameson Irish Whiskey in 1780, and the brand has built a following of whiskey lovers since. Its flavours are described as complex, with toasted wood, spice and sherry, and the whiskey is called exceptionally smooth and superbly mellowed by age.
