This is a 12 year old blended Irish whiskey from Jameson, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made with a higher proportion of pot still whiskey and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose has caramel, honey, toasted oak and dried fruit, with subtle spice and soft citrus. The palate is smooth and creamy, with toffee, vanilla, malted grain, orchard fruits and sherry sweetness, and gentle spice building underneath. The finish is medium to long, soft and warming, with lingering oak, vanilla and light spice.
