Jameson – Black Barrel Irish Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled Irish blend of pot still and small-batch grain whiskeys, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It carries no age statement. It is a tribute to the Jameson coopers. The bourbon barrels are charred a second time, and the whiskey also matures in sherry casks. A higher share of pot still whiskey adds body. The nose is rich, with butterscotch, fudge and toffee, plus nectarine and apricot from the sherry casks. The palate brings plenty of nutty notes, with vanilla, spice and toasted oak. The finish is long, with fruit and wood spice.
